Dawn M. Brower, 67, of Blakesley Rd., Camden, passed away November 24, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice. She was born on January 13, 1954, in Rome, the daughter of John F. and Alice J. Walters Sanson.  Dawn was a 1972 graduate of Camden High School. Dawn spent many years working for International Wire and Rome Teachers Credit Union before becoming a full time homemaker.  She was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, crocheting, and making homemade blankets for her family and friends. Surviving are two daughters, Kelly (Joe) Salmon, of Blossvale, and Kerry (Paul) Casler, of Lee Center; two sons, James O’Connell IV, of Camden, and Shaun O’Connell, of Palm Springs, CA; nine grandchildren, Adam Marino, Austin (Cortney) Marino, Tyler Salmon, Stacey Genovese, Kristy Casler, Paul Casler, Alexis Casler, Kylie O’Connell, and Logan O’Connell; eight great-grandchildren; her companion, David Choquette; a sister, Patricia Lambert, of Camden; two brothers, John F. (Nancy) Sanson, Jr., of Inverness, FL, and James (Tina) Sanson, of Camden; and several nieces and nephews.  Dawn was predeceased besides her parents, John and Alice; by a sister, Ruth Ann Sanson. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
