Doreen C. Weeden, of Westdale, NY (formerly of Vienna, NY) passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2022.  Doreen was loved and known all over the Oneida County area through her lengthy career as a business owner of Weeden’s Furniture, Weeden’s Mini Mall and Doreen’s Tax Service.  If you knew her you probably the recipient of a hug, a card or a phone call. She impacted the lives of so many with her care and concern for all she knew. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Weeden in 2013, her parents Chauncey and Grace Frye, her brother Ellison Frye and her sister Esther Demsky. Surviving family members include Janet Graham of Camden, NY, a son David “Roy” Weeden (Laura) of Montoursville, PA, daughters, Joan Lacelle (Robert II) of Westdale, NY and Judy Tremper (John) of Mont Alto, PA. Grandchildren, Carolyn Estey (Seth) of Boiling Springs, SC, Matthew Weeden (Angie) of Thornton, CO, Mark Weeden (Reagan) of Greer, SC, Robert Lacelle III (Esther) of Liberty, KY, Randall Lacelle of Westdale, NY, Joshua Lacelle (Emily) of Apex, NC, Josiah Lacelle (Aileen) of Westdale, NY, Aleesha Lauger (Andrew) of Harrisburg, PA and Kirsten Sites (Ryan) of Fayetteville, PA as well as 12 great grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for 3 PM, Saturday February 26, 2022 at Living Hope Church, 2488 State Route 69, Camden, NY.  All who knew her are welcome to join in the celebration of her life.   There will be no calling hours.  A private graveside service for the family will occur in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doreen’s name may be sent to her favorite ministry, the Camden Seventh-day Adventist Church, 11 Main Street, Camden, NY.
