Obituary for John Bolster

John Michael Bolster 24, of Utica, NY, formerly of Florence, NY passed away March 2, 2022 after a brief illness at St. Luke’s Hospital, New Hartford, NY. He was surrounded by his family when he passed. He was born in Syracuse, NY on Sept 10, 1997, a son of John A. & Kelly Brown Bolster and was a 2016 graduate of Camden High School. John Michael worked at various jobs such as the Florence Hotel, International Wire Co., Sylvan Beach Amusement Park, which was one of his favorite jobs. He also worked as a car wash attendant and at various pizzerias in the Utica area. John Michael loved being in the woods, enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at the Redfield Reservoir.  He also had a great interest in steam powered engines and especially enjoyed the annual family camping trip attending the Canandaigua Steam Engine show. Surviving are his mother, Kelly Bolster & James Graves, Florence, NY, two sisters, Emma Bolster, Florence, NY, and Siara Welch & Edwin, Utica, NY, four brothers, Evan Bolster, Florence, NY, Jamie & Sanela Bolster, Chattanooga, TN, Brad Graves and Kevin Graves, Camden, NY, his maternal grandparents, Marie Duhamel, Central Square, NY and George Brown, Brewerton, NY, and Grandpa Graves, William Graves, Sr, Florence, NY, two nephews, Jaden and Harris, several aunts, uncles and cousins. John Michael was predeceased by his father, on Oct 2, 2003.  Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 2:00pm -4:00pm from LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main Street, Camden, NY. Funeral services will begin at 4:00pm.
