Kathleen L. Allen 76, of Camden, NY passed away Sunday November 7, 2021 at St. Luke’s Healthcare, New Hartford, NY. She was born August 6, 1945 in Syracuse, NY a daughter of Edward & Charlotte Frost Waterman and attended Syracuse schools. On November 6, 1965 she married Frederick J. Allen and they had lived in the Camden area since the 1970’s. Kathleen loved her community and its ‘Camden Pride’. She was an avid bowler with Liberty Lanes. She worked as a clerk or manager at various stores including Camden Super Duper, Nice n Easy, Stewart’s and retired from Fastrac. A Native American, she was a member of the Onondaga Eel Clan.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Frederick, a daughter, Sarah & Jason Fosdick, two sons, Paul & Penny Allen and Frederick Allen, Jr., a daughter in law, Stephanie Allen, 15 grandchildren, 17 great grand -children, a sister, Rosalie Schotanus, a brother, Gary Waterman and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Matthew J. Allen, April 23, 2005 and four siblings.
Funeral services will be held 1:00pm TUESDAY (11/16/2021) from LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. Interment McConnellsville Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday  from 11:00am – 1:00pm, prior to services. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
