Linda M. Conley, 74, of Camden, left our Earthly plane to be reunited with her loving husband on Wednesday evening, November 17, 2021 at Rome Memorial Hospital surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren. Linda was born on March 23, 1947 in Camden as the only child of Harry and Eleanor (Sanson) Simmons Jr. She attended Camden Senior High School, graduating in the Class of 1965.  After high school, Linda attended the former C.C.B.I of Syracuse, graduating in 1967 with a Business Certificate. She married the love of her life, Brian G. Conley, on November 18, 1967 at the Camden Methodist Church. (She joined Brian in eternity just in time for them to be together on their 54th wedding anniversary.) She then went on to work for the Camden School District as a Secretary. She eventually retired from Camden Furniture, a job she loved dearly. After retiring, she spent the rest of her life as a dedicated homemaker, always redecorating and giving everyone new ideas and projects. Linda is survived by two daughters; Tamara Conley (Darryl Mawson), and Kelli Conley (Rod Facteau), both of Camden, brother-in-law, Tim & Cindy Conley, Camden, sister-in-law, Sandra Conley, Florence, six grandchildren; Andrew Conley, Kara Conley, Allison Smith, Amanda Spink, Emily & Hannah Smith, and Rodney Facteau Jr., twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special “adopted” grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father Harry in 1987, husband Brian in 2019, and mother Eleanor in 2020. Her family would like to extend special thanks to Michelle and Ronald for all of their help and special friendship to Linda over the last year, as well as the care and compassion provided by the ICU staff during her stay at Rome Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main Street, Camden. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be held privately for the family in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clear Path for Veterans, 1223 Salt Springs Road, Chittenango, NY 13037.
