Michael B. ‘Flubby’ Britton Sr., 71, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2022 after a brief illness. Michael resided at the Oneida HealthCare ECF and was born and raised in Williamstown, NY. A son of the late Leland & Celia Oyer Britton, Sr., Michael was a graduate of APW High School and a veteran of the United States Navy. In 1977, Michael was united in marriage to Sherene Wolfe and had two children. He was a resident of Camden for most of his life and worked for Spargo Wire Co., and International Wire for over 30 years before retiring in 2010.   Michael had a love for sports and was a fan of the NY Giants. He was an original member of the Buzzin’ Bastards softball team and played every Sunday. Once retiring from the game, he was an avid golfer and was out on the green every chance that he could. Michael loved the outdoors, music, and was a social guy who loved his friends. He leaves behind his two children, Jody & Jeffery Harrington, Sr, Camden, NY and Michael & Sheena Britton, Jr. of Florence, NY, two brothers, Leland Britton, Jr. and James Britton, two sisters, Ruth “Cookie” Dale and Linda & George Horning, four grandchildren who were the apple of his eye, Jeffery, Jr and Zackery Harrington and Noah and Lillian Britton, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his second wife, Carol Baker Britton. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 – 6pm from LaRobardiere Funeral home, Inc., 109 Main Street, Camden, NY. Spring burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown, NY.
