Shirley A. House 83, of Camden, NY passed away at home on June 12, 2022. She was born in Rome, NY on September 9, 1938 a daughter of Otto & Arlene Murphy Grass. On October 19, 1956 she married Vernon H. House in Camden, NY. He passed away January 8, 2006. Shirley was a cook for many years with CJ’s Variety and then later with Katie & Karl’s Restaurant for many years. She was also a member of the former Maple Flats Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Janice & Bernard Mahle and Candy House all of Camden, NY, three sons, Vernon & Shelly House, Blossvale, NY, Ricky House & Tammy Finch, Camden, NY and John House, Tennessee along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren, several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sons, William and Bernard House, two daughters, Suzanne Mahle and Jenny Landon, and a grandson, Joseph House. Calling hours will be held Friday from 11:00am – 1:00pm at LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main Street, Camden, NY followed by graveside services at Maple Flats Cemetery, Cleveland, NY.
