. Suzanne M. Plumley 79, of Blossvale, NY passed away Thursday March 10,2022 at the Abraham House, Rome, NY after a brief illness. She was born in Rome, NY on June 27, 1942 a daughter of Kenneth & Mable Seamons Ferris and was a 1960 graduate of Camden High School. On July 2, 1960 she married George L. Plumley in Camden, NY. He passed away December 27, 2012. Suzanne was a homemaker, wife, parent and foster parent for most of her life. Working out of the house she was a caregiver working as a home health aide for those in need of care. Sue also cared for the young providing day care and nursery school assistance to area children. She always enjoyed stopping at a roadside garage sale. Surviving are her longtime companion, Walter Aker, Blossvale, NY, four daughters, Pamela & Curtis Gokey, Blossvale, NY, Miranda Plumley, Rome, NY, Shyneisia Plumley, Whitesboro, NY and Autumn Plumley, Blossvale, NY, two sons, Michael & Barbara Plumley, Williamstown, NY,  Christopher Plumley, Utica, NY, several grandchildren and many great grandchildren, a sister, Sharon Ferris, Vernon, NY and two brothers, Milton Ferris, Camden, NY and Bruce Ferris, Florida along with several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Donna Harrison and brothers, Kenneth Ferris and infant brother, Richard Ferris. Services will be private. Burial will take place in the spring at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY.  Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to The Abraham House, 417 N.
